We're excited to announce ClearPoint Next version 16.5.56! This release introduces My AI Briefing — a personalized, role-based home screen powered by AI — alongside smarter admin setup flows and a large wave of reliability improvements across the platform.

🏠 My AI Briefing

My AI Briefing is ClearPoint's AI-driven workspace — a personalized home screen that reads your account's live data and delivers a role-specific briefing the moment you open it. No more navigating to find context; the right information is already waiting for you, tailored to whether you're an admin, a leader, or a contributor.

Click My ClearPoint in the left navigation to open it. You'll land on a personalized, AI-generated briefing page that's different for every role — built from your account's live data, refreshed every time you open it.

Before My AI Briefing, understanding the state of your account meant clicking through scorecards, pulling reports, and piecing together signals from multiple pages. Now the moment you log in, ClearPoint tells you what's happening — in the right language for your role, ranked by what matters most.

There are three views, each tailored to a different role:

Admins open to a full account health dashboard:

• Recent Updates — An AI-written summary of the last 20 days: logins, scorecards touched, and any review signals affecting reporting readiness — with specific flags like "Scorecard coverage is limited" or "Review signals may affect readiness," each rated by severity
• Account Data Integrity — A live count of everything that needs fixing before your next reporting cycle: overdue open items, stale updates, elements missing status, and items assigned to inactive owners — each listed with severity (HIGH / MID) and an exact count so you know where to act first
• Adoption & ROI — Active user counts, workflow completion rate, on-time task completion, and update activity — plus AI-identified Value Signals (what's going well) and Adoption Opportunities (what's worth improving)
• Reporting Workflows — Status of active workflows across the account
• Announcements — Active account-level announcements in one place

Leaders and executives open to a strategic briefing built from their scorecard data:

• Recent Updates — What changed in the last reporting window, how many contributors were active, and an "Open First" flag for anything needing attention before a briefing
• Strategy Brief — An AI-written executive summary of your scorecard: what the numbers say, where the pressure is, and a prioritized Recommended Focus with specific actions the AI has identified from your data
• Key Signals — Your most important measures as mini trend charts, each with an AI-written interpretation of what the trend actually means
• Questions Worth Asking — AI-generated discussion questions drawn from your scorecard, designed to surface what your team should be talking about in the next leadership conversation

Contributors open to a focused personal action list:

• Recent Updates — What needs your attention right now — or simply "You're caught up" if everything is in order
• My Workflow Tasks — Your open tasks for the current reporting cycle with a completion progress bar
• My Checklist — An AI-prioritized list of your items that need updates, each with a severity label (Critical, High) and a plain-language explanation of exactly what's missing and what to do — so you can open ClearPoint, read your checklist, and know precisely what to update before you close the tab

🔧 Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

⚙️ Smarter Admin Setup Flows
Bulk adding users, reporting periods, and fiscal years is now much faster. Users can be added by pasting directly from a spreadsheet, reporting periods auto-propose the next 12 based on your existing setup, and fiscal years auto-suggest upcoming years — less manual work, faster onboarding.

🏷️ Tags Now Auto-Assign Distinct Colors
New tags no longer default to gray. When you create a tag, the system automatically assigns a distinct color that isn't already in use — making your tag list easier to scan at a glance.

📁 Simplified Settings Navigation
Series & Charts are now split by element type for easier configuration, default and custom fields are unified under a single "Element Fields" section, and admin reports are grouped under a new "Management Reports" section — a cleaner, more organized settings experience.

📤 Clearer Briefing Book Export Form
The briefing book and HTML export template form is now simpler with clearer language, making it easier to configure and use.

🛠️ Reliability & Fixes
This release includes a large number of reliability improvements across permissions, exports, navigation, scheduling, and data management — including:

• Briefing book generation now works correctly for all accounts
• PDF exports render in light mode and respect page size/orientation settings
• By-scorecard permissions now work correctly for editors and updaters
• Tags, periods, milestones, and fiscal years can all be added without errors
• Homepage settings, user profile changes, and AI settings changes save reliably
• Scorecard management and schedule editing work without unexpected 404 errors
• Dashboard chart hyperlinks and report chart references display correctly
• Series data views on non-measure elements now load properly
• Milestone detail pages now link back to their parent initiative
