Hey there,

We're excited to announce ClearPoint Next version 16.5.58! This release brings a major upgrade to OKRs, more flexible status displays, and stronger reliability across scorecards, exports, charts, permissions, and reporting.

Here's what's new:

✨ What's New in CP Next

πŸ“Š Admin Usage & License Dashboard Admins get a new Usage tab in Account Settings showing license utilization, weekly active user trends, team activity breakdown, plan coverage, and AI-generated ROI recommendations to help demonstrate value to stakeholders. The License tab has also been redesigned with renewal alerts (amber at 90 days out, red at 30), a cleaner plan/features matrix, and fair-use indicators.

πŸ“„ PDF Export & Briefing Books Get a Refreshed Preview Exporting to PDF and Briefing Books now includes a live preview showing exactly what you'll get before exporting, pods that automatically resize to fit their content, the ability to insert manual page breaks, and a toggle to include or remove pod borders.

🎯 OKRs Refinements Goal status and Key Result data type are now visible right on Goals pages without opening each goal. Admins can bulk edit and reassign OKRs across the organization, goals views now show aggregate status tiles at a glance, and OKR cards on element pages are now interactive β€” just like other linked element cards.

πŸ“Œ Status Cards for Detail Pages Admins and report builders can now add a Status card directly to element detail page layouts, making status more visible and easier to update.

πŸ”§ Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

🏷️ Categories and objective linking now save and display correctly Adding multiple categories to a scorecard, linking categories to objectives, and linked goals showing in the Edit Drawer or Link card all now work as expected.

πŸ“€ HTML Exports are more reliable Report Options now save after editing, and clicking an export's name downloads the file instead of showing an error.

πŸ“ˆ Chart and Gantt reliability improvements The Custom Chart tab in Account Settings no longer errors, the chart menu library scrollbar no longer disappears while scrolling, chart reset restores default colors and styles as expected, and AI-driven color changes now apply correctly.

πŸ“… Gantt custom sort now updates immediately Changing the custom sort order on a Gantt chart report now updates the chart right away, without requiring a page refresh.

πŸ—ΊοΈ Strategy Maps are more reliable Strategy maps no longer redirect from Classic into Next unexpectedly, homepage customizations that point to a strategy map now save correctly, and objective text on strategy maps now wraps as expected.

πŸ” Permissions and user groups behave more predictably Browser-role users can no longer edit charts they shouldn't have access to, new user groups now show up correctly when assigning users, and group-permission users see consistent row-level editing and bulk/import visibility across Manage Elements, Series, and grid summary views.

πŸ“Š Measure data tables now save and display reliably Data entered into measure data tables reflects immediately instead of showing cached values, and series hidden from data tables no longer reappear.

πŸ” Reporting workflow reliability improvements Copy forward is accessible again from workflow task updates, and admins can once again toggle task completion from the Workflow Summary page.

πŸ“… Reporting period labels now display correctly Period labels on update cards and detail pages now match each element's actual reporting frequency, and summary report column editors no longer show irrelevant period options.

🏷️ Status pod now includes "Not Defined" The Status card on element detail pages now includes the "Not Defined" option, consistent with other areas of the app.

πŸ•’ Last Updated tracking is more accurate The Last Updated By field now correctly reflects who made a change, and edit-field changes are no longer miscounted as updates.

β• Status indicators on summary reports now reflect completion accurately Initiative and activity status circles in summary reports now update to reflect actual percent-complete data instead of staying empty.
