🎉 ClearPoint 16.5.65 Release Highlights!

We’re excited to announce ClearPoint version 16.5.65! This release brings a rebuilt Explorer experience, easier navigation from Gantt charts, and a long list of improvements to exports, reporting periods, and manage pages.

Here’s what’s new:

✨ New in ClearPoint Next

🧭 A rebuilt Explorer Explorer now opens with a per-type view tab bar on every element page instead of a view dropdown, Milestones are promoted to a top-level navigation item with a By Initiative tree, and the canvas has been redesigned with simpler cards, per-type icons on lanes and chips, and clearer pathway connectors. A new minimap and zoom-to-fit overlay make large maps easy to move around — see the full guide to Manage Elements views.

📉 Charts right on the Explorer canvas Measure cards now show their chart inline and initiative cards show a mini-Gantt, so you can read performance without leaving the map.

🕸️ Link elements by dragging A new Link Elements panel lets you connect elements directly on the canvas, and those links stick.

🗺️ The Scorecards tab now uses the new canvas The basic scorecards explorer has been replaced with the redesigned canvas, with scorecard filtering handled server-side so large accounts load quickly.

📅 Jump straight from a Gantt chart to the element Element names in the left-hand column of a Gantt chart now include a clickable navigation icon, so you can move from the timeline to the underlying initiative in one step.

🔗 Simpler link cards The “Embed Link” toggle has been removed — link cards now always embed, so they render consistently everywhere they appear.

🛡️ Clearer administrator reporting Administrator Reports have been renamed and consolidated under Settings → Audit & Recovery, making it easier to find the right report when you need to review or restore activity.

🔧 Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

🌐 Broader Spanish language coverage Spanish translations now cover more pages and components, and reporting period names are generated in your own language rather than always in English.

📄 Better exports and briefing books PDF exports now render cards at the correct size with the right backgrounds, chart exports come through cleanly, series data exports work as expected, and export option settings save reliably.

🗂️ Smoother manage pages, bulk changes, and imports Bulk change previews are clearer and show owner names instead of IDs, file uploads and initiative imports now complete instead of stalling on the processing step, and updaters can edit their elements from manage pages as expected.

📊 More reliable reports, cards, and layouts Summary reports reload correctly after a refresh, reusable KPI value cards keep their own names, and HTML content, text colors, and long-text fields now copy, save, and display the way you entered them.

🔢 Percent complete references now selectable You can now pick a percent complete reference field on the initiative you’re currently working in.

📆 More predictable reporting periods and workflows Fiscal years no longer accept overlapping start and end dates, scheduled copy forward saves correctly, and copy forward now uses your custom element names.

⚙️ Polished setup and navigation The Settings breadcrumb opens the right page, kebab menus show proper field labels, by-scorecard field label customizations can be removed, and new scorecards pick up their users as expected.

🤖 Cleaner AI assistant experience ClearPoint AI chat history now displays as readable conversation rather than raw result boxes, and chat responds more reliably.

📈 Steadier charts Duplicating a metric no longer carries the original’s status snapshot across, and charts can be added and removed without unexpected entries appearing.

🏛️ Classic Application Maintenance

The following improvements are included for ClearPoint Classic users in this release:

📚 Briefing books finish generating Classic briefing book generation now reliably runs through to completion instead of resetting partway.

📏 Roomier export pages Template name and user columns on the Briefing Book and HTML Template export pages now size properly, so longer names are readable.
