🎉 ClearPoint 16.5.69 Release Highlights!

We're excited to announce ClearPoint version 16.5.69! This release adds status descriptions, self-scaling gauge charts, richer formatting in HTML text fields, and milestone copy forward, along with improvements to exports, permissions, milestones, and integrations.

Here's what's new:

✨ New in ClearPoint Next

🏷️ Status descriptions Admins can now add a short description to each status, and the Status Legend card has a new “Show description” toggle so readers see what each status means right beside its icon.

⏩ Copy forward milestones A new Copy Forward Milestones action on an initiative’s Milestones tab carries status, percent complete, analysis, recommendations, and custom fields into the next period, skipping completed milestones just like ClearPoint Classic.

✏️ Bulk edit series from the measure page The Series tab in the measure edit drawer now lets you select several series and edit them together.

📈 Gauge charts that size themselves Leave a gauge’s maximum blank and it now scales automatically from the chart’s series data. A maximum you set still takes priority, and gauge bars now stay inside the chart.

📝 Richer HTML text formatting HTML text fields now support wrapping text around images, table cell background colors, and custom table borders.

🎨 Custom chart JSON data labels Per-series data label styling set in a chart’s Custom JSON now displays in ClearPoint Next, matching ClearPoint Classic.

🔌 MCP connector improvements The ClearPoint Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector can now filter measure data by period and series, work with measure custom fields, set the “Not Defined” status, and clearly reports when it can’t answer a question.

🔧 Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

📊 More dependable exports and imports Measure page Excel exports work again, Excel exports show user names instead of IDs and readable text instead of raw HTML, Manage Elements workbooks open on the Data tab, HTML export menus use your organization’s element labels, scheduled HTML export publishing resumes as expected, and imported files now save zero values.

🔐 Permissions and user management Scorecard Admins can now edit scorecard text fields and no longer see the option to change layouts for the whole account, By Scorecard permission levels save and display correctly, By Scorecard users now see their assigned workflow tasks (marked No Access where they lack access, as in Classic), and the Edit User drawer’s Send Welcome Email option now matches Classic.

🗓️ Milestones, evaluations, and reporting periods Completed milestones carry 100% progress forward, editing milestone dates no longer changes Not Defined to Not Started, new status indicators appear in milestone evaluation criteria, default initiative series criteria save, Critical Path percent complete updates the parent element right away, Gantt charts refresh after milestone edits, and default reporting periods follow the period selector again.

🧩 Cards, grids, and reports Scorecard-specific element names show in card titles, chart cards show edit and view-measure icons on hover, the image size toolbar no longer gets cut off, KPI data table rows stay aligned at any zoom level, grid checkboxes display cleanly, Yes/No fields display consistently, Milestones shows its element count, and Project Reports filter milestones by percent complete as expected.

🔗 Integrations and AI Zapier automations update measure data again, the Asana project dropdown works when building Zapier automations, ClearPoint AI can add sub-milestones and knows today’s date, and the AI wand prompts a quick refresh after an update instead of showing an error. AI features require AI to be enabled for your account.

🔒 Sign-in and profiles Logging out of one session no longer signs you out everywhere else, and user profile edits save correctly with any time zone.

🏛️ Classic Application Maintenance

The following fixes are included for ClearPoint Classic users:

📋 Copy forward and scheduling Bulk Copy Forward now carries each element’s own status correctly, and copy-forward schedules can be created and edited again.

📄 Period Report export The Reporting Frequencies Period Report export now completes as expected.

🧮 Weighted scores recalculate automatically Weighted score measures now update on their own when a measure they reference changes, and the score on scorecard summary pages refreshes right after you save.
