🎉 ClearPoint 16.5.71 Release Highlights!

We're excited to announce ClearPoint version 16.5.71! This release adds a Hide Milestones option for Gantt reports, along with improvements to approvals, measure data, reports, charts, and rich text editing.

Here's what's new:

✨ New in ClearPoint Next

📅 Hide Milestones on Gantt reports Gantt reports now have a Hide Milestones switch on the Report tab of Edit Layout, so you can build a high-level, projects-only timeline. It uses the same setting as Classic, so reports already set up there carry over.

🔧 Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

✅ Approvals Approving a request to add an element now creates it, approving a request to restore a deleted element now brings it back, and each approval request can only be decided once.

📈 Measure data and series You can now clear the calculation from an existing calculated series without deleting and re-adding it, very large measure values now save correctly, Last Updated now only shows a date when someone actually saves an update for that period, and the measure grid and edit page behave more reliably.

📊 Reports and filters Outcomes reports with many calculated fields now load reliably, Series filters only offer the fields that apply to series (Name and Tags), the Custom Sort list under Edit Layout now opens in the report's current order, reports keep the name you gave them when your account uses custom element names, report layout editing is more reliable, and user group access to reports stays intact when a report is saved.

🎨 Charts and branding Chart links now take you to the right page, and report and card elements that use your account's accent colors now update when you change those colors in Branding.

✏️ Rich text editing Text color and font size added through the ClearPoint Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector now stay in place when you open a field in Inline Edit.

🧭 Navigation Clicking a newly created element in a list now opens it right away, no page refresh needed.

⏰ Schedules A schedule's End By Date can no longer be set before its First Run Date, and the Disabled tag on the Schedules list now displays cleanly.

🏛️ Classic Application Maintenance

The following fixes are included for ClearPoint Classic users:

📉 Zero values on charts Charts with Transpose Axes turned on now show a value of 0 in their tooltips instead of an empty box.

✅ Approvals Approving add and restore requests now works as expected, and each approval request can only be decided once.

🔢 Custom Sort The Custom Sort list under Edit Layout now opens in the report's current order instead of alphabetically.
