We’re excited to announce ClearPoint Next version 4! This release delivers another round of meaningful improvements, from enhanced project evaluations and chart exports to smoother scorecard management and detail page editing. It also includes major behind-the-scenes updates to stabilize your experience and bring ClearPoint Next closer to feature parity with ClearPoint Classic.

Here’s what’s new in this release:

✨ Newly Available in CP Next

🔁 Seamless Switching Between ClearPoint Next & Current
Administrators can now enable a smooth transition for their organizations. ClearPoint Next users can always switch back to Current, and admins can also opt to show a switch to Next from within ClearPoint Current. This means you can explore Next at your own pace—without losing access to familiar tools.

📊 Chart Hamburger Menu Export Options
You can now export charts directly from the hamburger menu in PNG, JPEG, PDF, or SVG formats—giving you flexible ways to share and present your data.

📄 Export Progress Indicators
Page exports, briefing books, and HTML exports now display a progress bar so you know exactly when your exports are processing and when they’re complete.

🧩 Complete Edit Modals for Elements and Scorecards
All remaining tabs—like Objective Evaluation, Notifications, Milestones, and User Access—are now available in the edit modal for elements and scorecards. It’s a full-featured editing experience, just like in ClearPoint Current.

🔗 In-Page Linking for Detail Layout Pods
You can now create and manage linkages directly through pods like Objectives and Measures—no need to go to the edit drawer.

👤 User Profile Settings Are Now Editable
Update your email, notification preferences, and more from your profile menu directly in ClearPoint Next.

🌐 Everafter Success Portal Integration
A new integration with the Everafter success portal helps you stay aligned with your customer journey.

🔧 Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

📊 Better Chart and Series View Behavior

• Chart exports now use a clean white background for all formats.
• New series save as expected, with custom names and order preserved.
• Series data values (including integers) now display correctly in the Series View.

🧱 Smoother Editing and Layout Customization

• Inline save/cancel buttons now function on detail pages.
• The "Add Pod" drawer behaves correctly when switching to customization mode.
• Custom pods now include placeholder text when not yet configured.
• Period labels are now shown in the top-right corner of custom field pods.

🧠 Improved AI and Scorecard Navigation

• AI chat remains responsive beyond the first message.
• Discussion messages and drawers now load correctly in scorecard detail and grid reports.
• The left navigation updates consistently when switching scorecards or editing them.

📁 Scorecard and Element Management Polished

• Editing a scorecard no longer unexpectedly changes your current navigation state.
• Deleting a parent scorecard no longer hides its children.
• User access and other changes persist reliably in edit modals.
• Lists and data views in Manage Elements have been refined for smoother use.

📂 Workspaces & Custom Pods

• Custom pods are now read-only unless edited from the right place.
• Clicking to edit elements from workspace pods now opens the correct drawer.
• Instruction drawers appear as expected when accessing tasks.
• Users now see consistent linking and status indicators across evaluations and link pods.

📤 More Reliable Exports & Documents

• Completed exports now appear in the Documents page and alerts.
• Briefing book exports now include images and hide footers when set to do so.

🛠 Additional Quality-of-Life Improvements

• The Scorecard Manage Page no longer misplaces the top navigation bar.
• You’ll now see confirmation toasts when exports are queued or completed.
• Profile edits and cancel buttons behave as expected, with proper styling and functionality.
• Objective evaluation criteria now save correctly, with accurate math behind weighted scores.
