🚀 ClearPoint Next 4.2 Release Highlights!

We’re excited to announce ClearPoint Next version 4.2! This release delivers exciting new automation features plus refinements across elements, schedules, reports, and dashboards—making your experience smoother, more intuitive, and more powerful than ever.

Here’s what’s new in this release:


✨ Newly Available in CP Next

🔔 Automations: Notifications
Admins and Scorecard Admins can now easily manage element-based notifications through a clean table view and drawer interface. Configure triggers, set conditions, map recipients, and monitor notifications—everything you need to keep your team informed.

Automations: Reminders
Stay on top of key tasks with the new Reminders module. Set up, edit, duplicate, or schedule reminder emails for element owners or collaborators, all through an intuitive interface with full control over message details, recipients, and scheduling.


🔧 Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

📈 Manage Elements & Series Improvements

  • Sort order changes now persist after import and inline edits.
  • Series View now properly shows “Reporting Frequency” (not mislabeled as “Period Groups”).
  • Filters in Series View apply immediately—no page reload needed.
  • Adding “Reporting Frequency” no longer causes the Element Name column to disappear.
  • Bulk deleting elements now works reliably.
  • Adding multiple elements preserves previous field changes without resetting.

🛠 Drawer & Inline Editing Enhancements

  • Double-clicking modals no longer exits unexpectedly to inline edit mode.
  • Series duplication now avoids naming and caching issues.
  • Editing data tables no longer unexpectedly affects charts.
  • Evaluation modals now load fully, and the close button (“X”) works as expected.
  • Dependencies field is now visible in the Initiative edit drawer.

📊 Reports & Dashboard Refinements

  • Dashboard reports no longer show edit buttons where they shouldn’t.
  • Dashboard View double-clicking no longer allows unintended chart edits.
  • Hidden or deleted reports no longer display by default on Manage pages.
  • Saving layouts on Scorecard Detail Reports applies only to individual scorecards, as intended.

📋 Schedules & Automation Polishing

  • Deleted or disabled schedules now display clear labels.
  • Schedule types like “Publish Dashboard” now show readable labels.
  • Required fields are enforced when creating schedules, ensuring clean data.

🎨 Field & Customization Fixes

  • String custom field pods now correctly display content (no more blank views).
  • Multiple picklist fields now prevent duplicate selections.
  • Status icons, My Scorecard, and My Favorites custom fields now render properly.

🛡 Profile & Stability Updates

  • User Profile Settings now load without crashing.
  • HTML Token dropdowns in data fields now update visually and function without crashing.
