Hey there,
We’re excited to announce ClearPoint Next version 4.3! This release introduces brand-new capabilities for diagrams (previously known as strategy maps), emailing pages directly, and exporting reports to Excel—along with key visual updates and reliability improvements. These changes help streamline your workflows and make sharing and managing reports easier than ever.
Here’s what’s new in this release:
✨ Newly Available in CP Next
🗺️ Diagrams — Visualize and Share Strategy Maps
Strategy maps are now available in CP Next as diagrams! You can manage, design, and edit them just like in ClearPoint Current. Add background colors or images, drag and arrange elements, filter by type, and customize how icons and labels display. Diagrams now support:
- Export to PDF from the kebab menu
- Email Page (send as a PDF attachment)
- Favorite and Homepage controls
- A new Discussions drawer for collaborative comments
- Click-through navigation to element detail pages
📧 Email Any Page — Summary Reports, Detail Pages & Diagrams
All report types and detail pages now include an “Email Page” option in the kebab menu. Select recipients, add a subject and message, choose page size and orientation, and send the PDF with a single click—no downloads or extra steps required.
📊 Excel Exports for Summary Reports
Grid layout summary reports now include an “Export to Excel” option from the kebab menu. The export preserves:
- Column groupings and layout
- Reporting frequencies and period labels
- Header colors and custom column styles
- Status formatting via background colors (icon-only status not included)
