🚀 ClearPoint Next 4.4 Release Highlights!

We’re excited to announce ClearPoint Next version 4.4! This release introduces powerful new features for managing summary reports and enhances the AI experience with smarter, context-aware insights. It also includes more than 40 updates to improve reliability, reduce friction, and refine visuals throughout the platform—making CP Next even more intuitive and efficient.

Here’s what’s new in this release:


✨ Newly Available in CP Next

🧾 Manage Summary Reports

A new Manage Summary Reports page brings full configuration control to CP Next! Users can now:

  • Add, edit, duplicate, and delete summary reports
  • Set sort order via drag-and-drop
  • Show or hide deleted reports
  • Sort columns and configure filters
  • Customize report columns, groupings, and advanced styling
  • Manage reference, scorecard, and grid report types—all in one place

🤖 Smarter AI Analysis & Recommendations

AI features are now more intelligent and flexible. They:

  • Adapt to available data across the account
  • Provide fallback insights when information is limited
  • Display helpful messages when data is insufficient
  • Respect role-based permissions and scope boundaries

🔧 Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

📩 Automations & Scheduling Improvements

  • Scheduled emails in Reporting Workflows can now be duplicated.
  • Non-admin users can no longer access restricted automation pages.
  • Scheduling options and UI alignment have been improved in Briefing Books and other areas.

🖼️ Layout & Page Behavior Fixes

  • “Save to All” now correctly applies pod layouts across elements.
  • Data tables now highlight fiscal years properly and reflect entered series values without needing to press Enter.
  • Pod scrollbars no longer appear unnecessarily with list formatting.
  • Inline editing no longer persists across reporting periods.
  • Token inserters have been removed from inappropriate modals.

📊 Chart & Export Visual Refinements

  • Charts now apply default colors immediately on load.
  • Exported Excel reports retain bullet/number formatting from HTML.
  • Download menus no longer overflow or redirect unexpectedly.
  • Chart UI menus now reflect previously saved changes.

📁 Manage Elements & Scorecards

  • Row height, filtering, and view-cloning behavior have been fixed.
  • Custom fields (string, image) now save properly or fail gracefully.
  • Scorecard filters and archived scorecards display accurately.
  • Sorting, view switching, and link saving now behave as expected.

📧 Email, Notifications & Workflows

  • Emails now require recipients and body before sending.
  • Notifications via Quick Map now preserve user links.
  • Workspace notifications pods now load gracefully (with fallback text if empty).
  • Workflow instructions display correct formatting and ownership.
  • Confetti returns when you complete a workflow—because you earned it.

🛠️ General Improvements

  • Breadcrumb navigation works reliably across views and tabs.
  • Diagrams (strategy maps) now retain status indicator colors in dark mode.
  • Users can now cancel emoji reactions and update pod titles.
  • Milestone sliders and completion dates behave consistently.
  • UI polishing includes merged cell highlighting, red cancel buttons, and crash protections for disabled custom fields.
