Hey there,

We're excited to announce ClearPoint Next version 16.5.55! This is a big release โ€” bringing language support for Spanish and British English, major performance improvements, Gantt chart enhancements, and a large wave of stability and UX fixes across the platform.

Here's what's new:

โœจ Newly Available in CP Next

๐ŸŒ Language Support: Spanish (Latin America) and British English ClearPoint Next now natively supports Spanish (Latin America) and British English as platform language options. Admins can configure the language setting to make the platform more accessible for global and multilingual teams.

๐ŸŽฏ Gantt Chart Milestone Interactions Gantt charts now support the full milestone interactions available in Classic: double-click to edit, drag to move dates, and drag to update percent complete โ€” giving project managers a more intuitive planning experience.

๐Ÿ“Š Visual Indicators for Calculated and Locked Series Calculated and locked series now display visual indicators, making it easier to identify which series values are system-managed versus directly editable.

๐ŸŽจ Separate Color Options for Cards and Summary Report Headers Admins can now configure the default account color separately for element cards and summary report headers, giving you finer control over your organization's visual identity.

๐Ÿ”ง Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

โšก Performance & Loading Element and manage pages now load progressively for faster rendering. Summary reports load via infinite scroll. Dashboard charts defer loading until visible on screen.

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Manage Pages & Bulk Changes The bulk change architecture has been rewritten โ€” the Save button now works consistently, dropdowns behave correctly, and tag changes apply as expected. The import workflow now includes a bulk-change preview with an "enable adding new elements" toggle.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Reports & Exports Excel exports now populate correctly. Report search no longer returns blank pages. Decimal values on series save correctly. Series status data now shows for initiatives. Attachments display properly in reports. HTML exports produce correctly formatted output.

๐Ÿ“Š Charts & Briefing Books Pie charts and legends now format correctly. Charts open in edit mode with the correct type. Briefing book first-page spacing is fixed, recipients dropdown works, and linked pages are included in exports.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ UI, Navigation & System Setup Tokens display correctly. Sub-milestones indent correctly. Breadcrumbs on objective pages show names instead of IDs. Data Grid has a dedicated page link icon; double-click enters edit mode. SSO correctly redirects to Next. AI audit log shows display names.

๐Ÿš€ Be among the first to experience ClearPoint Next!

ClearPoint Next is available for both individual users and full organizations. If youโ€™re an admin and want to enable ClearPoint Next for yourself or your team, reach out to your account manager or contact us at [email protected] โ€” weโ€™ll get you set up!

As always, thank you for your continued feedback as we continue building the future of strategy management. Stay tunedโ€”more updates coming soon!

๐Ÿš€ ClearPoint Next 16.5.53 Release Highlights!

Shared by Angel โ€ข April 21, 2026

Hey there,

We're excited to announce ClearPoint Next version 16.5.53! This release brings meaningful new capabilities around plan management and user experience, alongside a strong wave of reliability and consistency improvements across the platform.

Here's what's new:

โœจ Newly Available in CP Next

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Full Names in Multi-User Picklist Fields Custom multi-user picklist fields now display full user names by default in pods, reports, and exports โ€” consistent with how the Collaborators field has always worked. No more hovering to see who's who.

๐Ÿ”ง Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

Navigation & Scorecards

  • The breadcrumbs dropdown menu now displays all available navigation options correctly, restoring full navigation from element detail pages
  • The Manage Scorecards page now updates immediately when scorecards are created, duplicated, or deleted โ€” no refresh required
  • Scorecards now load reliably on the Manage Scorecards page for accounts with large scorecard counts

Manage Pages & Elements

  • The Objectives page and other element list pages now load correctly on first click
  • By Scorecard User roles (Admin, Editor, Updater) can now access element options menus as expected
  • Scorecard-specific element naming conventions now take proper precedence over general custom element names

Edit Drawer & Saving

  • Changes made in the Edit Drawer โ€” whether on the Edit Fields tab or Update Fields tab โ€” now save correctly and consistently
  • Confirmation messages after saving now display as expected, rather than showing unformatted code text
  • Milestone status updates made from the edit drawer and milestone card now apply and persist as expected

Fields & Custom Fields

  • Custom category names defined in Account Settings now translate consistently throughout the application โ€” including in the edit drawer, category modals, and wherever categories are referenced
  • Status icon fields now display only the statuses selected for that field, rather than showing all available statuses
  • Custom multi-user picklist fields now show full user names by default across all views โ€” pods, reports, and exports

Charts & Data

  • Chart line stroke styles (such as dotted or dashed) now save and display correctly in both the chart preview and on the detail page

Reports & Exports

  • Data Grid pods now respect the account's default rows-per-page setting, improving load performance for accounts with large datasets
  • The element type dropdown in Data Grid pods no longer includes Milestone as a selectable option, since milestones do not support reports
  • Hidden element types no longer appear as options in Data Grid report type dropdowns
  • Dashboard reports now display both the chart name and the associated measure name, making it easier to distinguish between charts that share the same name
  • The rows-per-page selector in Data Grid reports now reflects the selected value correctly
  • Report filters now retain the selected element type when a field is chosen, rather than reverting to the default

Kanban View

  • Drag-and-drop position changes in the Kanban board now save and persist correctly when navigating away and returning to the board

Automation & Notifications

  • Notification rules with specific field-equals criteria now save and persist correctly โ€” previously, custom criteria would revert to "any change" after saving

System Setup & Admin

  • Archived reporting periods are now hidden by default on the Manage Periods page, consistent with how archived scorecards are handled โ€” keeping the view clean and focused on active periods
  • Custom field filtering on action items now works correctly
  • Adding new snapshots in ClearPoint Next now works as expected

Accessibility

  • Clicking the accessibility option from your profile icon now correctly opens the accessibility plugin within ClearPoint Next, rather than redirecting to ClearPoint Classic
  • An issue that caused accessibility mode to become permanently cached โ€” leading to slow page loads, focus indicators appearing on all elements, and typing issues โ€” has been resolved

ClearPoint Next is available for both individual users and full organizations. If youโ€™re an admin and want to enable ClearPoint Next for yourself or your team, reach out to your account manager or contact us at [email protected] โ€” weโ€™ll get you set up!

Initiatives & Milestones

  • Parent/child milestone relationships now reflect immediately after saving without requiring a browser refresh.
  • Bulk editing milestones on the Manage Milestones page now works as expected, and the parent column no longer goes blank when editing.
  • Adding multiple milestones at once now works correctly, initiative start and end date fields are fully editable in the editing drawer, and initiatives with auto-evaluation enabled no longer incorrectly allow manual status changes.

Manage Elements & Import

  • Importing custom field data from the Manage Elements page now populates correctly across all supported field types.
