You can ask for AI-generated insights, recommendations, or link updates to strategic elements—no need to log in. It’s the easiest way to keep your strategy moving forward right from your inbox.

Here’s what’s new in this release:

📅 Periods Now Display in Action Item & Risk Reports

Default Action Item and Risk reports now show the correct period context, aligning them with the reporting frequency of the associated element. No more guessing which period your data represents!

📄 Cleaner Exported Reports with Calculated Fields

Blank calculated fields now export as empty cells instead of displaying “[object]” in Excel. This update ensures that exports look polished and professional across all formats.

We’re excited to announce ClearPoint Next version 6.1! This release includes improvements across reports, schedules, AI, automation, and detail page layouts. These changes continue to refine performance, eliminate bugs, and move ClearPoint Next closer to full parity with Classic.

Here’s what’s new:

🔧 Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

🧾 Reports & Exports

• Previewing a Briefing Book now opens only one tab (instead of one correct + one 404)
• HTML Export → “Link Report” button opens the correct page
• Footer preview now loads as expected in Briefing Book edit drawer
• PDF Exports now render properly when zoom is below 100%
• Long text fields now wrap to the next line in detail views
• Recipients tab now accessible when editing a Briefing Book or HTML Export

📅 Schedules & Automation

• Fixed issue where schedules could be created without required fields
• Calendar picker no longer selects the wrong date when the time is set after 6pm
• Deleted schedules now remove correctly
• Fixed page freeze when creating a new schedule
• Automation breadcrumbs now route correctly (no more blank pages)

🖥️ Manage Pages & Elements

• Initiative and Milestone % Complete values now update correctly (drag or type)
• Elements added via the “Add New” modal now save and show as expected
• Page Breaks in layout editors now save and persist correctly
• Owners field now loads faster in large accounts and supports filtering
• HTML with Data field saves no longer hide left nav items
• Layout updates on workspaces now apply immediately (no refresh needed)
• Series drawer → AI Assistant button now shows in the correct position and label

• AI Evaluations no longer appear blank or disappear after completion
• Analysis and Recommendation pods support pasting/adding images
• AI prompt no longer triggers “Unsaved Changes” popup

• Manage Scorecards page no longer crashes for non-admin roles
• New user creation/edit bugs resolved (homepage issues, crash on role change, deletion failures)
• Fixed layout ID error when assigning homepage to a new user

⚙️ System Setup Improvements

• Reporting Period, Frequency, and Fiscal Year drawers no longer trigger 404s on Save
• Period picker now defaults to correct labels (e.g. “Feb-24” rather than frequency name)
• “Success Portal” now loads correctly

🧩 Navigation, Theming, and Layout Fixes

• Switching themes now properly updates hover highlight colors in breadcrumbs
• Breadcrumbs no longer include “Diagrams” for elements
• Switching scorecards no longer shows 404 (from name button or dropdown)
• Scorecard layout changes now reflect immediately (no refresh needed)
