πŸ”” See All Your Default Notifications in One Place β€” The My Notifications page now lists which elements have default notifications (Any Change, Any Update, Any Edit) enabled β€” giving you a complete view of your notification setup at a glance.

πŸ“Š Smarter Visual Cues for Calculated & Locked Series β€” Calculated and locked series in measure data tables now appear grayed out even when you're not in inline editing mode, making it instantly clear which fields can be edited and which can't.

πŸ’¬ Clear Feedback When Editing Non-Editable Series β€” When you attempt to click into a calculated, reference, or locked series, a helpful notification now appears to explain why the field isn't editable.

πŸ”§ Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

βš™οΈ Reporting Workflows β€” Creating and saving reporting workflows now works reliably β€” the Save button correctly activates when all required fields are filled, and reporting workflows save as expected. Notifications now save without redirecting to a 404 page.

πŸ—‚οΈ Manage Scorecards β€” Views β€” Custom views on the Manage Scorecards page now delete correctly after confirmation.

✏️ Inline Editing Accuracy β€” The inline editor now immediately reflects saved content after updating Analysis or HTML fields, with no stale data appearing after a save.

πŸ—“οΈ Series & Data Table Improvements β€” Series can now be properly reordered in the Edit Series drawer. Calculations can be reassigned, including back to "No Calculation." The Edit Series panel order now matches the Measure Data table column order. Locked series settings no longer block all measure data table updates.

πŸ“€ PDF Export β€” Text cards no longer get cut off when exporting initiative detail pages to PDF.

πŸŽ‰ ClearPoint Next 16.5.56 Release Highlights!

Angel avatar
Shared by Angel β€’ June 16, 2026

Hey there,

We're excited to announce ClearPoint Next version 16.5.56! This release introduces My AI Briefing β€” a personalized, role-based home screen powered by AI β€” alongside smarter admin setup flows and a large wave of reliability improvements across the platform.

Here's what's new:

✨ Newly Available in CP Next

🏠 My AI Briefing

My AI Briefing is ClearPoint's AI-driven workspace β€” a personalized home screen that reads your account's live data and delivers a role-specific briefing the moment you open it. No more navigating to find context; the right information is already waiting for you, tailored to whether you're an admin, a leader, or a contributor.

Click My ClearPoint in the left navigation to open it. You'll land on a personalized, AI-generated briefing page that's different for every role β€” built from your account's live data, refreshed every time you open it.

Before My AI Briefing, understanding the state of your account meant clicking through scorecards, pulling reports, and piecing together signals from multiple pages. Now the moment you log in, ClearPoint tells you what's happening β€” in the right language for your role, ranked by what matters most.

There are three views, each tailored to a different role:

Admins open to a full account health dashboard:

  • Recent Updates β€” An AI-written summary of the last 20 days: logins, scorecards touched, and any review signals affecting reporting readiness β€” with specific flags like "Scorecard coverage is limited" or "Review signals may affect readiness," each rated by severity
  • Account Data Integrity β€” A live count of everything that needs fixing before your next reporting cycle: overdue open items, stale updates, elements missing status, and items assigned to inactive owners β€” each listed with severity (HIGH / MID) and an exact count so you know where to act first
  • Adoption & ROI β€” Active user counts, workflow completion rate, on-time task completion, and update activity β€” plus AI-identified Value Signals (what's going well) and Adoption Opportunities (what's worth improving)
  • Reporting Workflows β€” Status of active workflows across the account
  • Announcements β€” Active account-level announcements in one place

Leaders and executives open to a strategic briefing built from their scorecard data:

  • Recent Updates β€” What changed in the last reporting window, how many contributors were active, and an "Open First" flag for anything needing attention before a briefing
  • Strategy Brief β€” An AI-written executive summary of your scorecard: what the numbers say, where the pressure is, and a prioritized Recommended Focus with specific actions the AI has identified from your data
  • Key Signals β€” Your most important measures as mini trend charts, each with an AI-written interpretation of what the trend actually means
  • Questions Worth Asking β€” AI-generated discussion questions drawn from your scorecard, designed to surface what your team should be talking about in the next leadership conversation

Contributors open to a focused personal action list:

  • Recent Updates β€” What needs your attention right now β€” or simply "You're caught up" if everything is in order
  • My Workflow Tasks β€” Your open tasks for the current reporting cycle with a completion progress bar
  • My Checklist β€” An AI-prioritized list of your items that need updates, each with a severity label (Critical, High) and a plain-language explanation of exactly what's missing and what to do β€” so you can open ClearPoint, read your checklist, and know precisely what to update before you close the tab

AI must be enabled on your account to see this page.

πŸ”§ Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

βš™οΈ Smarter Admin Setup Flows
Bulk adding users, reporting periods, and fiscal years is now much faster. Users can be added by pasting directly from a spreadsheet, reporting periods auto-propose the next 12 based on your existing setup, and fiscal years auto-suggest upcoming years β€” less manual work, faster onboarding.

🏷️ Tags Now Auto-Assign Distinct Colors
New tags no longer default to gray. When you create a tag, the system automatically assigns a distinct color that isn't already in use β€” making your tag list easier to scan at a glance.

πŸ“ Simplified Settings Navigation
Series & Charts are now split by element type for easier configuration, default and custom fields are unified under a single "Element Fields" section, and admin reports are grouped under a new "Management Reports" section β€” a cleaner, more organized settings experience.

πŸ“€ Clearer Briefing Book Export Form
The briefing book and HTML export template form is now simpler with clearer language, making it easier to configure and use.

πŸ› οΈ Reliability & Fixes
This release includes a large number of reliability improvements across permissions, exports, navigation, scheduling, and data management β€” including:

  • Briefing book generation now works correctly for all accounts
  • PDF exports render in light mode and respect page size/orientation settings
  • By-scorecard permissions now work correctly for editors and updaters
  • Tags, periods, milestones, and fiscal years can all be added without errors
  • Homepage settings, user profile changes, and AI settings changes save reliably
  • Scorecard management and schedule editing work without unexpected 404 errors
  • Dashboard chart hyperlinks and report chart references display correctly
  • Series data views on non-measure elements now load properly
  • Milestone detail pages now link back to their parent initiative

Here's what's new:

Shared by Angel β€’ April 21, 2026

Hey there,

We're excited to announce ClearPoint Next version 16.5.53! This release brings meaningful new capabilities around plan management and user experience, alongside a strong wave of reliability and consistency improvements across the platform.

Here's what's new:

✨ Newly Available in CP Next

πŸ‘₯ Full Names in Multi-User Picklist Fields Custom multi-user picklist fields now display full user names by default in pods, reports, and exports β€” consistent with how the Collaborators field has always worked. No more hovering to see who's who.

πŸ”§ Enhancements and Fixes Across the Platform

Navigation & Scorecards

  • The breadcrumbs dropdown menu now displays all available navigation options correctly, restoring full navigation from element detail pages
  • The Manage Scorecards page now updates immediately when scorecards are created, duplicated, or deleted β€” no refresh required
  • Scorecards now load reliably on the Manage Scorecards page for accounts with large scorecard counts

Manage Pages & Elements

  • The Objectives page and other element list pages now load correctly on first click
  • By Scorecard User roles (Admin, Editor, Updater) can now access element options menus as expected
  • Scorecard-specific element naming conventions now take proper precedence over general custom element names

Edit Drawer & Saving

  • Changes made in the Edit Drawer β€” whether on the Edit Fields tab or Update Fields tab β€” now save correctly and consistently
  • Confirmation messages after saving now display as expected, rather than showing unformatted code text
  • Milestone status updates made from the edit drawer and milestone card now apply and persist as expected

Fields & Custom Fields

  • Custom category names defined in Account Settings now translate consistently throughout the application β€” including in the edit drawer, category modals, and wherever categories are referenced
  • Status icon fields now display only the statuses selected for that field, rather than showing all available statuses
  • Custom multi-user picklist fields now show full user names by default across all views β€” pods, reports, and exports

Charts & Data

  • Chart line stroke styles (such as dotted or dashed) now save and display correctly in both the chart preview and on the detail page

Reports & Exports

  • Data Grid pods now respect the account's default rows-per-page setting, improving load performance for accounts with large datasets
  • The element type dropdown in Data Grid pods no longer includes Milestone as a selectable option, since milestones do not support reports
  • Hidden element types no longer appear as options in Data Grid report type dropdowns
  • Dashboard reports now display both the chart name and the associated measure name, making it easier to distinguish between charts that share the same name
  • The rows-per-page selector in Data Grid reports now reflects the selected value correctly
  • Report filters now retain the selected element type when a field is chosen, rather than reverting to the default

Kanban View

  • Drag-and-drop position changes in the Kanban board now save and persist correctly when navigating away and returning to the board

Automation & Notifications

  • Notification rules with specific field-equals criteria now save and persist correctly β€” previously, custom criteria would revert to "any change" after saving

  • Archived reporting periods are now hidden by default on the Manage Periods page, consistent with how archived scorecards are handled β€” keeping the view clean and focused on active periods
  • Custom field filtering on action items now works correctly
  • Adding new snapshots in ClearPoint Next now works as expected

Accessibility

  • Clicking the accessibility option from your profile icon now correctly opens the accessibility plugin within ClearPoint Next, rather than redirecting to ClearPoint Classic
  • An issue that caused accessibility mode to become permanently cached β€” leading to slow page loads, focus indicators appearing on all elements, and typing issues β€” has been resolved
